Douglas W. Brown serves as Vice President and Marketing Director of Hudson Motor Company, where he leads brand strategy, public communications, and media relations during the company’s relaunch.

Appointed in February 2026, Brown is responsible for developing Hudson’s brand identity and communicating the company’s progress as it prepares to introduce a new lineup of trucks, SUVs, and passenger vehicles.

Working closely with founder David Barnard, Brown helps shape the company’s market positioning, with a focus on durability, practical engineering, and long-term ownership value.

Brown brings more than 20 years of experience in automotive sales, marketing, and business development. He previously served as President of Brown & Associates Marketing, where he advised businesses on marketing systems and growth strategies.

His automotive background includes management roles with Florida dealerships such as Mike Erdman Nissan, Cocoa Hyundai, and McCotter Ford.

A Florida native, Brown was born in Panama City and raised in Cocoa. He attended the University of Florida following his graduation from Cocoa High School.

As Hudson Motor Company progresses toward production, Brown continues to lead the company’s communication strategy and brand development initiatives.
